80th Anniversary Celebration
Saturday, December 12th, 2009
We're planning a very special Shabbat morning on Saturday, December 12 to celebrate
Beth El's 80th anniversary, and we hope you’ll join us.
During Shabbat services, relatives of our founding families will be recognized and will help to lead services, read Torah and chant Haftarah; all of Beth El’s past presidents will be asked to take an aliyah. Our BESTT students will highlight the service with a special artistic and musical tribute to Beth El. Among our esteemed guests that morning will be Beth El’s Rabbi Emeritus, Myer S. Kripke.
The morning’s festivities are being chaired by Nancy and Joel Schlessinger; Sherry Shapiro and Joye Wees are chairing the Kiddush luncheon following services.
Please mark December 12 on your calendar and help us mark this marvelous milestone.
