Jewish Images on the Big Screen
Sundays 11am

Our line-up of Sunday morning adult-education classes has just become more exciting with a new weekly offering, “Jewish Images on the Big Screen,” beginning October 18. The year-long class, led by Susi Frydman-Levin, will meet at 11 a.m., and is open to all adults in the Jewish community.
During the course, participants will view and analyze images and issues from a variety of films. In addition, “we will use clips from films and documentaries to explore Jewish values, and to reflect about faith, identity and tradition,” Susi explained, adding that, “You don’t have to love the movies to learn from them and enjoy this class!”
Cost to attend is $36 for Beth El members, $45 for non-members. To register, contact Margie in the synagogue office, or at
programming@bethel-omaha.org.
