Beth El Synagogue Omaha Nebraska

Simcha Facilities

The facilities of Beth El Synagogue can meet the needs of any simcha, from intimate to the most elaborate, thanks to the building's basic design and the addition to the social hall completed in 1997.

Beth El is now able to serve groups of 400 to 450 at a sit-down dinner. Among the very few facilities in Omaha that are equally large or larger, only Beth El offers a strict policy of kashrut that provides every Jew the comfort of eating any food item served.

Simcha planners may utilize Beth El's facilities in their everyday simplicity and loveliness. Or, they may opt for decorative changes ranging from minor to dramatic.

Executive Director Larry DeBruin is ready and able to help you with advice on lighting, photography, chuppah, ketubah, kippot and other details to make your occasion special.

Lucy White, the queen of the Beth El kitchen, and her capable aid, Pat Teal, have worked successfully with all of Omaha's major caterers.
