Shabbat Hagadol is a special day on the Jewish calendar that is celebrated on the Shabbat before Passover. It is known as the "Great Sabbath" and marks the beginning of the Passover holiday. We will be celebrating this special shabbat with Zimra – spiritually uplifting music provided by a fantastic group of singers and musicians led by Hazzan Krausman.

The name "Shabbat Hagadol" comes from the Hebrew word "gadol," which means great. This day is considered great because it commemorates the miraculous events that led to the Jewish people's liberation from slavery in Egypt. It is a time to remember the hardships our ancestors faced and to give thanks for their freedom while at the same time praying for our hostages in Gaza who currently do not enjoy freedom.

Shabbat Hagadol is a time for families to come together and reflect on the importance of freedom and the power of faith. It is a reminder to be grateful for our blessings and to never take our freedom for granted. As we celebrate this special day, we also look forward to the upcoming Passover holiday and the retelling of the story of our ancestors' redemption.

Our service will be filled with beautiful melodies and heartfelt prayers, creating a truly meaningful and memorable experience for all who attend. Join us in this celebration of tradition and community. Let us come together in unity and joy as we honor this holy day and all it represents. May this Shabbat bring blessings and peace to all of us.
