Shabbat
“More than the Jewish People have kept the Sabbath, the Sabbath has kept the Jews.” Ahad Ha’am
Celebrating Shabbat is central to living a Jewish life. We are so happy to give you numerous opportunities to come with your family and be part of our congregation. We are blessed to have a wonderful group of little ones that are our newest and most important members of Beth El Synagogue. We want each one of our Pre-Schoolers to feel like Beth El is their home and we want them to feel extremely comfortable in the building. That being said we are offering wonderful Shabbat programs for your toddlers, pre-school aged children and the entire family.

At Beth El, students ages 3-5 and their parents will be introduced to our Talmud Torah program. They will begin to develop a basic understanding of holidays, customs, ceremonies, Bible Stories and key Hebrew vocabulary. If you have a younger sibling, please take them to the babysitting room during class at no charge.
