Operation Isaiah
Each Yom Kippur, it has become a tradition at Beth El to heed Isaiah’s message to feed the hungry:
This is my chosen fast...Share your bread with the hungry.
Take the homeless into your home.
Clothe the naked when you see him.
Do not turn away from people in need. - (Isaiah 58:6-7)
Here’s how you can participate this year:
• Donate money to Beth El's Little Free Pantry.
• Donate money or non-perishable food to the Foodbank for the Heartland.
• Donate money or clothing to the Open Door Mission.
• Donate non-perishable food to the Chabad Food Pantry.
Food Donations Can Be Dropped Off at Beth El - September 18 - October 4
You are welcome to drop off non-perishable food to Beth El. Our last collection date will be on Kol Nidre, Tuesday, October 4.
