Join Rabbi Abraham and Reverend Debra McKnight of Urban Abbey for a night of learning and sharing devoted specifically to the December holidays. We recommend wearing your favorite holiday sweater and making a cozy beverage to get in the holiday spirit. Rev. Debra and Rabbi Steven will share a bit about their respective holidays, and then we’ll spend some time talking about what it’s like to be in an interfaith family this time of year. Participants who wish to do so will have the opportunity to share some of the blessings and challenges that they experience during the holiday season. Finally, Rev. Debra and Rabbi Steven will share some ideas for kids activities or programs that can be done to create a more meaningful holiday experience. Parents and grandparents, aunties and uncles, caregivers and friends who want to celebrate the season are welcome.
