Join Hazzan Krausman for this class based on the volume "Peninei Halachah (Pearls of Jewish Law)", a brilliant compendium of Jewish Law authored by Rabbi Eliezer Melamed, Rosh Yeshiva and Rabbi of the community of Har Bracha in Israel.

Each week we will walk through one or two chapters of this monumental work, look at some of Rabbi Melamed’s sources and talk about how his particularly traditional perspective relates to our Conservative viewpoint. We will also examine some of the prayers that the author refers to in the context of our siddur and contemporary commentaries.

Whether you are a seasoned davener or just learning how to navigate the siddur (prayer book), this will be a fascinating pathway to approaching Jewish prayer.
