Nadav Shelef is the Harvey M. Meyerhoff Professor of Modern Israel Studies and Chair of the Political Science Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. Professor Shelef’s research and teaching focus on nationalism, territorial conflict, religion and politics, Israeli politics and society, and middle east politics. His most recent book – Homelands: Shifting Borders and Territorial Disputes – was published by Cornell University Press in 2020.
