An attorney by training, lobbyist, association executive, and nonprofit consultant by profession, Jonathan Lightman has served as Chair of the JCRC, President and Gabbai Rishon of Mosaic Law, and Chair of the USCJ Shoshana Cardin Awards Committee. A native of Los Angeles, Jonathan grew up with a love of classic rock, baseball, and all things Jewish. He and his wife, Janis, have lived in Sacramento since 1988 where they raised their two sons, Ari and Noah, and are now often seen with their Mini Bernedoodle, Flash.
